Strengthening Bangladesh–Canada Economic Partnership: Productive Meeting with the Consul General in Toronto

In a significant move to enhance Bangladesh–Canada trade and investment relations, Md. Liton Ahmed, Founder of Made in Bangladesh Expo Ltd. and Chairman of the Global Trade Promotion Council of Bangladesh (GTPCB), met with Mr. Md Faruk Hossain, Consul General of Bangladesh in Toronto. The discussion centered on advancing bilateral cooperation, promoting Bangladeshi exports, and engaging the diaspora in Canada’s business ecosystem.

Mr. Ahmed briefed the Consul General on the upcoming Made in Bangladesh Expo™ – Canada Edition 2026, scheduled for September 18–20, 2026, at the Mississauga Convention Centre, Ontario. The Expo aims to spotlight Bangladesh’s export excellence, create impactful B2B linkages, and open new avenues for trade and investment between the two nations.

🔹 Partnership opportunities with the Consulate General of Bangladesh, Toronto, as an Official Partner or Patron Organization

Expressing his appreciation, Mr. Faruk Hossain applauded the initiative and reaffirmed the Consulate’s readiness to support programs that boost Bangladesh’s global trade visibility and strengthen its economic footprint in Canada.
