The U.S.-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce & Industry (USBCCI) proudly announces that its President, Md. Liton Ahmed, has been awarded the Highest Civilian Honor of the United States, presented in 2022 and endorsed by President Joseph R. Biden Jr.
This distinguished award recognizes individuals who have demonstrated extraordinary contributions to national development, community leadership, and international cooperation. It is the highest civilian recognition conferred by the U.S. government.
In addition to this historic accolade, Mr. Ahmed was also the recipient of the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award, a recognition of over 4,000 hours of community service and lifelong dedication to advancing public good, U.S.–Bangladesh relations, and global trade connectivity.
